The LA Lakers have been in sublime form throughout the postseason. The Lakers won the fourth game of the NBA finals by 102-96 to take a lead of 3-1 in the series against the Miami Heat. Lakers star LeBron James had a perfect game for the Lakers as the King scored 28 points.
On the other hand, Miami Heat’s talisman Jimmy Butler, who had single-handedly won the third game of the series for his team with 40 points, scored 22 points in the fourth game. Butler was guarded by Lakers star Anthony Davis in the fourth game. Butler heaped praise on Davis and stated that he is an incredible defender.
Davis was on the top of his game as he scored 22 points for the Lakers. The 27-year old did a fine job in keeping Butler in check and also made one steal and four blocks while defending.
“I mean, he’s an incredible defender. He contests a lot of shots, blocks shots,” said Butler. “But I just think I got to be better at getting my guys involved. More dribble hand-offs, more screens, maybe playing a little bit without the ball, playing off the ball.”
On the other hand, Butler stated that he would give his best against the Lakers in the fifth game of the series. It is going to be a do or die match for the Miami Heat and Butler is going to play a crucial role for the Heat.
“Sure. Whoever they put on me I got to do a better job of making sure we win, no matter if it’s AD or anybody else that they have on their roster. I have a job to do, we have a job to do and we didn’t do that.”
The Miami Heat will need to come up with a collective effort as the LA Lakers are on the roll. The fifth match of the series will be played on Friday.
