The Western conference leaders Los Angeles Lakers haven’t had a perfect start to the NBA bubble in Orlando. The Lakers, who have thus far won 51 matches, have made a hat-trick of losses in their last three appearances. The last defeat for the Lakers came against the Indiana Pacers on Sunday when they lost 116-111. T.J Warren was the top player for the Pacers as he scored 39 points.
LeBron James, who scored 31 points against the Pacers, shared a story on his Instagram handle. James shared a motivating post to lift the dropping shoulders of his teammates.
The superstar athlete who is known to never give up, stated one should not bother if they are going through a rough patch but they should try to work hard when nobody’s watching.
“Never concern yourself about the losses/bad performances everyone tends to see. It’s more about the work you put in when no one is watching,” LeBron wrote in his Instagram story post, tagging Anthony Davis, Quinn Cook, and J. R. Smith.
On the other hand, Anthony Davis is a crucial part of the Lakers team. It is only his first year for Davis in the Lakers but has settled into the team with great ease.
The 27-year-old was at his best in the opening match after the NBA resumption against the second-placed LA Clippers as he had scored 34 points and also got eight rebounds for his team. However, he hasn’t been at his best in the recent matches.
Davis has put his weight behind his teammates and promised he is going to get the championship. The LA Lakers had last won the NBA title back in 2010.
“Ima get it back my dawg! I promise you that!! Davis wrote, sharing LBJ’s post on his Instagram account.
The LA Lakers will next play Denver Nuggets on 11th August and they would like to end their losing streak against the third placed Nuggets.
