Former NBA player Enes Freedom has made a serious claim on LeBron James, stating no player wants to play with him. Freedom feels Los Angeles Lakers is all about LeBron James and if the team fails, the blame is put on other players.
In NBA 2022-23, Russell Westbrook had a terrible season, and Freedom said James threw Westbrook under the bus. The 32-year-old added James is not a good teammate.
Meanwhile, LeBron James averaged 25.7 points, 8.3 assists and 7.3 rebounds in 71 games in 2023-24 season. He was selected to play in his twentieth All-Star games.
“No other player wants to go play with LeBron. You had so many other free agents. … No one wanted to go play with him, because they know that it’s all about LeBron. They’re gonna get zero clout. … When the Lakers’ season fails, LeBron tries to find a player to blame, and he blamed the whole season on Russell Westbrook, so he is not a good teammate. Obviously, he runs the media, and he tries to control this narrative, but when you actually know and have a conversation inside of the NBA and its players, nobody wants to play with him,” Freedom said. On the other hand, James’ son Bronny recently won $10,000 in the Call of Duty tournament. The junior James defeated Grant Williams to win the prize.
Meanwhile, James’ teammate Anthony Davis revealed the veteran told him he is among the top 1000 in the popular American football game, Madden NFL.
“It made him to the point where he was like, ‘I’m locking back in. When I say he locked back in, from that time in the bubble till right now, I think now he’s maybe top 1000 in the world now. I know, late in the season, he told us he beat the 164th-best player in the world, I think,” Davis said on the ‘Join the Lobby’ podcast. [H/T Complex]
