India will face Australia in the second T20I of the series at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur. Australia won the first match by four wickets and it will be a must-win contest for the hosts to stay alive in the series.
India had posted a fine score of 208 runs on the board in the first game but their bowling is a major concern as the fast bowlers took a beating in the Powerplay as well as the death overs.
On the other hand, Australia was able to come up with a collective batting effort after Cameron Green and Matthew Wade delivered the goods for the team. Green impressed while opening the innings as he scored 61 while Wade added the finishing with a brilliant knock of 45 runs.
Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya was amazing for India as he scored 71 runs off just 30 balls after KL Rahul scored 55 and Suryakumar Yadav contributed with 46 runs. However, India’s bowling attack let the team down in the first game.
It has been reported that Jasprit Bumrah will return to the final XI and his comeback will be a major boost for the team.
Match Prediction: Despite losing the first T20I, India will still enter the contest as favorites against Australia.
