Winning impetus is always the key before a mega event like the World Cup and India will look to maintain it when they take on Australia in the third ODI at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot on Wednesday.
Both of these teams will be meeting one another in their World Cup opener and they will aim to enter the ODI showpiece with confidence on their back.
India’s bench strength has taken their chances with Mohammed Shami, Shreyas Iyer, and Suryakumar Yadav shinning in the first two ODIs against Australia. However, the likes of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, and Kuldeep Yadav are expected to return to the XI for the final game.
On the other hand, Australia have not performed at their best with either bat or ball. They conceded a gargantuan total of 399 runs in the second game whereas the batters also could not convert their starts.
