India will take on Bangladesh in the third T20I at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad on Saturday. The home team took an impregnable lead of 2-0 in the series after winning the previous match convincingly by 86 runs at Delhi.
As we have seen in the IPL, the Hyderabad pitch is a paradise for the batters and thus a run-fest could be on the cards. However, the visitors need to pull up their socks with the bat as they haven’t been at their best.
India, on the other hand, would be delighted after Nitish Kumar Reddy and Rinku Singh scored 74 and 53 runs respectively in the previous game. Reddy was able to impress with his six-hitting ability in the middle overs and furthermore, he delivered with the ball, returning with figures of 2-23 in his quota of four overs.
Moreover, Indian bowlers have been right on the money in the first two matches. However, with the series in the bag, the home team could give chances to Jitesh Sharma, Ravi Bishnoi, Tilak Varma, and Harshit Rana, who haven’t got their chances in the series.
On the other hand, Najmul Hossain Shanto would want his batters to deliver the goods, which hasn’t been the case so far. Furthermore, the Tigers will want to be at their best in the field as Litton Kumer Das’ dropped catch of Nitish Reddy proved to be costly in the last game.
Match Prediction: India will once again start as favorites against Bangladesh.
