    India vs England 2024, 4th Test – Stats Preview

    After India registered their biggest Test victory by 434 runs to take a 2-1 lead in the series, the fourth Test match will be played in Ranchi from Friday onwards. It will be a must-win match for England, who have shown that they don’t play for draws whereas India will look to take an impregnable lead in the series.

    Yashasvi Jaiswal has been simply brilliant for the hosts, scoring a majestic knock of 214 runs in the second innings. Furthermore, India received a massive boost as Rohit Sharma bounced back to form, scoring a fine knock of 131 runs.

    Ravindra Jadeja came up with an all-round performance, scoring 112 runs in the first innings and also taking a five-wicket haul in the second innings. Thus, Jadeja was awarded Player of the Match for his fine performance.

    England skipper Ben Stokes, who is all set to resume bowling duties, needs three more wickets to complete 200 Test wickets.

    Indian skipper Rohit Sharma needs 22 runs to reach the milestone of 4000 runs in Test cricket.

    Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal requires 139 runs to complete 1000 runs in the red-ball version.

    Ravindra Jadeja needs 13 wickets to complete 300 wickets.

    Kuldeep Yadav needs eight more wickets to reach the landmark of 50 wickets.

    England’s ace bowler James Anderson requires four more wickets to become the first fast bowler to reach the mountain of 700 wickets. Anderson will become the third bowler after Muttiah Muralitharan and Shane Warne to breach the landmark.

    England’s veteran batter Joe Root needs seven runs to complete 11500 runs in the red-ball version.

    Jonny Bairstow requires 94 runs to complete 6000 runs in the oldest format.

    Ben Duckett needs 91 runs to reach the 1500-run mark in Test format.

    Zak Crawley requires 70 runs to get to the landmark of 2500 runs.

    Ollie Pope needs 79 runs to get to the milestone of 2500 runs.
