The two new franchises – Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans – were expected to take their time in hitting the ground running in the IPL but after 55 matches, these two teams are at the top of their points table.
Both of these teams have won eight matches out of their 11 games and they will be looking to fight for the top spot on Tuesday at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune in the 57th match of the contest.
Both of these teams have ticked the right boxes as they have come up with a collective effort in the ongoing season. Gujarat Titans have lost their last two matches and they will look to return to winning ways in the upcoming match.
In fact, the Titans were cruising in the last game against Mumbai Indians but veered off the track in the run-chase as they lost wickets in a cluster.
