Rajasthan Royals will face Kolkata Knight Riders at the Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai in the 30th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2022 on Monday.
The Royals have won three out of their five matches while KKR has managed three wins in six games.
Both of these teams had lost their respective previous matches and would want to return back to the winnings ways. KKR had lost against SRH by seven wickets while Rajasthan Royals suffered a 37-run loss against the Gujarat Titans.
KKR’s top order has failed to deliver consistently for the team and they will want to turn the tables. Venkatesh Iyer has not come up with the goods like in the previous season. Meanwhile, Nitish Rana had scored an impressive fifty in the previous match against SRH and it was certainly a positive for the team.
However, apart from Sunil Narine, the rest of the KKR bowlers are not controlling the flow of runs, which is a concern for the team.
On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals needs to come up with a collective effort. Jos Buttler and Yuzvendra Chahal are consistently delivering with bat and ball respectively but they have lacked the support from their teammates. Trent Boult was ruled out of the last game due to injury and the inaugural champions will hope that the New Zealander is fit for the Monday match.
Match Prediction: It is expected to be a tight game between two strong teams however Rajasthan Royals might slightly hold the edge over the Knight Riders.
