IPL 2023: Punjab Kings vs Gujarat Titans – Dafanews Match Preview

Punjab Kings will lock horns against defending champions Gujarat Titans in the 18th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2023 at the IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali on Thursday. Both of these teams have won two out of the three matches they have played so far in the 16th season of the IPL.

We look at the current form, head-to-head, players to look out for, and squads of both teams in our match preview.

Current form for PBKS: L W W

Punjab Kings had really impressed with their batting might in the first two matches as they adopted an aggressive approach. However, they could only manage 143 runs against SRH in their previous match after Shikhar Dhawan scored a magnificent knock of 99 runs. Thus, they need to bat better against the Hardik Pandya-led team.

Current form for GT: L W W

Gujarat Titans are once again finding new heroes in their title defense. In fact, they had their previous match in their pocket against KKR but Rinku Singh snatched a win from the jaws of defeat to provide one of the greatest finishes to the game. GT will look to hold their nerves in crucial stages of the game.

Head to Head: Matches: 2, Won by GT: 1, Won by PBKS: 1.

It is even-stevens in head to head battle between these two teams.
