Lucknow Super Giants will lock horns against the Rajasthan Royals in the 44th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2024 at the Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow on Saturday. LSG won their previous match against CSK in a thrilling fashion with Marcus Stoinis playing one of the best knocks of the tournament.
On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals continued to march along as they won comprehensively against Mumbai Indians by nine wickets. Yashasvi Jaiswal returned back to his best as he scored a fine knock of 104 runs. The left-hander’s form was the missing piece in RR’s jigsaw and they were able to tick that box with his match-winning century.
Furthermore, Sandeep Sharma made a fine comeback after recovering from injury, returning with impressive figures of 5-18 in his quota of four overs.
Meanwhile, Marcus Stoinis scored a magnificent knock of 124 runs against CSK as he was the lone warrior for his team. Moreover, Krunal Pandya has been good for LSG in the middle overs.
Devdutt Padikkal has struggled for his form and it won’t be a surprise if he gets dropped from the final XI.
Match Prediction: Rajasthan Royals will enter the contest as favorites against Lucknow Super Giants.
