Punjab Kings will take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the 58th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2024 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala on Thursday. It has been another disappointing season for these two teams as their wait for an IPL title continues.
Both of them have managed four wins in 11 games and they will need favors from other teams to stay alive in the tournament. While RCB won their previous match against GT by four wickets, PBKS suffered a 28-run loss against CSK.
Stats Preview:
Faf du Plessis needs 15 runs to complete the 4500-run mark in the tournament.
Virat Kohli needs another nine fours to complete 700 boundaries in the IPL. He will become the second batter after Shikhar Dhawan to reach the milestone.
Mahipal Lomror needs 18 runs to complete 500 runs in the IPL.
Liam Livingstone needs 61 runs to complete 1000 runs in the tournament.
PBKS vice-captain Jitesh Sharma needs nine more sixes to complete 50 maximums in the lucrative tournament.
