The defending champions Multan Sultans will lock horns against Lahore Qalandars at the Gadaffi Stadium, Lahore on Wednesday in the Qualifier match of the ongoing Pakistan Super League 2022.
Multan Sultans had an incredible run in the league stage as they won nine out of their 10 matches to finish at the top of the points table.
Multan Sultans looked almost invincible in the league stage and they will look to continue the good show in the playoff stages. The Mohammad Rizwan-led has ticked the right boxes throughout the tournament and they had won their previous match against Islamabad United by six wickets.
On the other hand, Lahore Qalandars had lost their last league stage match against Peshawar Zalmi in the Super Over. The Shaheen Shah Afridi-led team had won six out of their 10 league stage matches.
In fact, Lahore Qalandars are the only team so far which has beaten Multan Sultans in the ongoing season and they will definitely take a lot of confidence from it.
