Mumbai Indians and Indian batsman Suryakumar Yadav has picked his all-time IPL XI but there was no place for CSK skipper MS Dhoni and David Warner.
Rohit Sharma and Jos Buttler open the innings for the right-handed batsman. Rohit has amassed 5480 runs in 207 IPL matches at an average of 31.49 and strike rate of 130.51.
Jos Buttler has done well for Rajasthan Royals and he will also keep the gloves for Suryakumar Yadav. Buttler has scored 1968 runs in 65 IPL matches at an average of 35.14 and a strike rate of 150.
At number three, SKY picked RCB and Indian captain Virat Kohli. Kohli is the highest run-getter in the IPL and has been a consistent performer. As per the mandatory condition of the selection, Suryakumar Yadav picked himself to bat at number four.
RCB talisman batsman AB de Villiers bats at number five. AB has amassed 5056 runs in 176 IPL matches at an impressive average of 40.77 and a staggering strike rate of 152.38.
Suryakumar Yadav’s Mumbai Indians teammate Hardik Pandya also makes the cut into the XI. Pandya has done well for the five-time champions with both bat as well as the ball. Andre Russell is the second all-rounder in the team as the West Indies player has all the skills to turn the match on its head with his blistering batting.
Ravindra Jadeja is the third all-rounder in the team as he has improved by leaps and bounds. Rashid Khan, newly appointed Afghanistan T20I captain, gets a spot in the IPL XI of Suryakumar Yadav. Khan is one of the best spinners in the shortest format of the game and has bamboozled the best in the business.
Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami are the two fast bowlers in the team. Bumrah is one of the best death overs bowlers whereas Shami has also impressed with his skills though his IPL numbers are not that great.
Suryakumar Yadav’s XI: Jos Buttler (WK), Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, AB Devilliers, Hardik Pandya, Andre Russell, Ravi Jadeja, Rashid Khan, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami.
