T20 World Cup 2024: Netherlands vs South Africa – Stats Preview

The Netherlands will square off against South Africa in the 16th match of the ongoing T20 World Cup at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York on Saturday. The Dutch have stunned South Africa in the last two encounters of the T20 World Cup and the ODI World Cup.

Both of these teams registered a six-wicket win in their opening clash of the tournament. South Africa came up with a brilliant bowling rendition in the last match as they skittled out Sri Lanka for a paltry score of 77 runs. Anrich Nortje, who was not in the best of forms in the IPL, bowled a terrific spell of 4-7 against the Lankans.

On the other hand, Tim Pringle bagged 3-20 against Nepal for the Netherlands and played a key role in skittling out the opposition at 106.

South African captain Aiden Markram needs two fours and as many sixes to complete 100 boundaries and 50 maximums respectively in his T20I career.

SA opener Reeza Hendricks needs eight sixes to complete 50 sixes in T20Is.

Quinton de Kock needs seven fours and nine sixes to reach 250 boundaries and 100 maximums respectively in T20I format.

South Africa gun fast bowler Anrich Nortje needs eight wickets to complete 50 scalps in T20Is.

Max ODowd needs five sixes to complete 50 maximums in T20Is.
