After registering a convincing win against Australia, India will move to the country’s capital for their second match of the ongoing World Cup 2023 against Afghanistan at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Wednesday.
India came up with a splendid bowling performance against Australia with Ravindra Jadeja, registering his best World Cup performance of 3-28 in his quota of 10 overs and thus they were able to skittle out Australia for 199 runs.
But, India found themselves under the pump at 2-3 with Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, and Shreyas Iyer failing to even open their account. However, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul were able to steady a tumbling ship as they scored 85 and 97* runs respectively.
On the other hand, Afghanistan could only manage a below-par score of 156 runs on the board in their opening clash against Bangladesh and they will need to come up with a better batting show.

Rohit Sharma needs eight more sixes to complete 300 sixes in the ODI form.
