Zimbabwe will lock horns against India in the second ODI at the Harare Sports Club, Harare on Saturday. The visitors took a 1-0 lead in the series after they won the first ODI convincingly by 10 wickets and with 115 balls to spare.
It was a dominating performance from the tourists as they ticked the right boxes as a unit. We take a look at the current form, head to head, players to look out for, and squads of both teams in our match preview.
Current form of India: W W W W W
India has won their last five ODI matches and they have won their last 13 ODI matches against Zimbabwe, which is their longest streak in the 50-overs format against any team. The bowlers did a fine job for India and then the openers chased down the target with ease.
Current form of Zimbabwe: L L W W L
Zimbabwean batters were blown away by Deepak Chahar in the first few overs and they will need to come up with a better batting show in the rest of the matches to stay competitive. The hosts also failed to take a solitary wicket and the big loss must have dented their confidence.
