Jamshedpur FC new signing Rafael Crivellaro has said he wants to give happiness to the club’s fans. The Red Miners have got off to a poor start in the ongoing Hero Indian Super League 2022-23 season, managing a solitary win out of the 10 games they have played.
They have lost eight games and one of their matches has ended in a draw. Thus, Aidy Boothroyd’s team has only four points under their belt and they are in 10th position in the standings. Rafael Crivellaro will want to turn the tables and he will definitely have his work cut out.
Speaking to Jamshedpur FC’s media team, Crivellaro said, “I am very glad and very happy to join the team. I am very motivated to join the team. I am very happy about the head coach, players and staff. Everything has been perfect till now.”
The 33-year-old is excited at the prospect of getting more game time with Jamshedpur FC and wants to give his best.
He added, “I went a long time without playing, so it’s always difficult to come back and play as before. But I’m sure with the minutes in my legs and the game time, I will become better and better and I will be able to help the team.”
The Brazilian also had a message for the club’s fans, “I just want you to keep supporting the team. We need that support and I think we can become better day by day. We are working very hard. The team is working very hard and I’m looking forward to helping the team and giving some happiness to the fans.”
Meanwhile, Jamshedpur FC lost their previous match against Bengaluru FC by 1-0 at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium, Bengaluru on Saturday.
Crivellaro has so far played two matches for Jamshedpur FC in the ongoing season and he would want to contribute to the team’s success.
Jamshedpur FC will next take on FC Goa at the JRD Tata Sports Complex, Jamshedpur on Thursday.
