Jamshedpur FC’s new recruit Steve Ambri wants to play a key role in the success of the team and he wants to score lots of goals for the club. Ambri will definitely add pace to the Red Miners’ attacking line in the ongoing tournament.
Jamshedpur FC have played three matches so far out of which they have won one, drawn one, and lost one. Thus, Ambri will aim to deliver the goods for the club.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to be a part of this club, and I must say, the warm welcome I’ve received from my teammates and the staff has been truly heartwarming. It’s clear that there’s a strong sense of camaraderie here, and that’s made my decision to join this club even more fulfilling,” Ambri said an interview with Jamshedpur FC.
Ambri is excited to join hands with Jamshedpur FC and he would want to be at his absolute best for interim head coach Scott Copper’s team.
“This marks my first experience in Indian football, and I am thrilled to join Jamshedpur FC. Playing under the guidance of Scott is exciting, as our playing styles are harmonious. I am eager to contribute by scoring goals for both the club and the passionate fans,” he stated.
Ambri has had a couple of training sessions and he is hopeful of getting acclimatised to the team’s style of play.
He said: “I have had a couple of intense training sessions with the squad already, and I feel good. I have to adapt to the climate, but little by little, it will get better. I have about two weeks before we play the next league game, so I will utilise this time to my and the team’s advantage.”
Ambri has the experience of playing for Nîmes Olympique in France in Ligue 2. Furthermore, he also played for Sheriff Tiraspol in Moldova. He was able to impress while playing Sheriff Tiraspol in the UEFA Europa League in the 2022-23 season.
“I aim to give my best in every match to help the team and try to score lots of goals. Also, of course, I am looking forward to seeing the loud fans at The Furnace who will be there to support us. They are the key to help us win matches. I can’t wait to meet you all at the stadium, Red Miners. See you soon,” he concluded.
