The India Men and Women’s Hockey India team, who are currently at the SAI center Bangalore, have been exposed to a lot of hidden experience about the game of Hockey thought the Level Basic Online Coaching course organized by the Hockey India.
The online coaching course was introduced on the 9th of May,2020 to equip the players and coaches with enough knowledge of the game. The session was attended by 32, and 23 senior Men and Women core probables as they partook in the Hockey India level Basic coaching course, which had made them learn detailed rules and deep history of the game.
The online coaching course, which is otherwise known as the Hockey India Education pathway mainly created in 2019, is to make provision for a simple educational structure to help coaches develop from the grassroots to world-class coaches of the international standard.
The core probables were able to get 36 hours of reviews for their online sessions and also take an assessment exam based on the latest FIH rules and regulations.
The Men core probables took their assessment exam on the 11th of May 2020, while the Women took theirs on Friday 15th May 2020.
Ramandeep Singh forward for the Men’s India Hockey team, and also, a participant revealed how happy he was to partake in the online coaching course as he said he has been playing the game of hockey for a long time bit doesn’t have enough knowledge about the history of the game.
“The game of Hockey has been a very vital game for the people of India, and we needed to know the invention of the game and the gradual popularity of the sport across the globe. I have been able to to.add more context to the game, and I believe this will. Make us improve better as a player”.
India Women Hockey team goalkeeper Savita could not hide her excitement as she revealed that she had a wonderful time learning about that nitty-gritty of the game and some specific areas on the Hockey pitch.
