Shivansh wins the Aperitivo Cup

 
Shivansh suprised pundit by beating the favourite, New England jockeyed by PS Chouhan while Shivalik Showers was runners up with a finishing time of 1:37.733.

The horse trained by Vijay Singh crossed the finishing line in 1:37.479 with a length and a half win over Shivalik Showers who was neck to neck with New England.

Imran Chisty jockeyed Sweet Music to fourth while Ace Ace Ace also trained by Vijay Singh came fifth.

In the Voltage Handicap, a race meant for horses rated 1 to 26, top favourite, El Mulano was beaten on Wednesday by Romantic Zeal jockeyed by Shezad Khan, finishing 1:27.911.

The horse trained by C Alford beat the favourite by four lengths while El Mulano also won half and a quarter lengths in a finishing time of 1:28:559.

Jasbir Singh-trained Lucky For Me came third in 1:28.807. Glorious Run Jockeyed by Rupal Singh finished fourth finishing 1:28.808 while Happy Returns trained by Manvendra Singh.

The top five shared the total Rs.255,600 with Romantic Zeal going home with Rs. 125,900.

In the Usher Handicap,  race meant for horses rated 41 to 66, Louboutin didn’t disappoint the stakers as the favourite crossed the finishing line in 1:26.313.

Cliffs of Capri trained by C Alford came second in 1:26.505 while Nikhil Naidu’s jockeyed Summerhill came third in a finishing time of 1:26.726.

Suraj Narredu took Shivash beyond the finishing line ahead of other in the Aperitivo Cup’ a race meant for horses of four years old and above.

Joss jockeyed by P Tejeshwar, and Shivayy trined by Vikash Jaiswal finished fourth and fifth, finishing 1:26.849 and 1:27.384.

Meanwhile, Namiki emerged winner of the Gridiron Plate, a race meant for the three-year-old race.

The Vijay Singh’s trained Namiki cross the finishing line by beating Devine Chakra by a length and half in a finishing 1:27.265.

The Favourite, Daring Heart came third a half-length behind Davine Chakra jockeyed by Imran Christy.

H S Bath trained-Seasky came fourth while Tahoe jockeyed by Dashrath Singh was fifth.

The top five shared Rs.539,600 with Namike going home with the top prize of Rs.265,750.
