Lucknow Super Giants will go head to head against Delhi Capitals in the 15th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League at the Dr.
DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai on Thursday. LSG has got off to a good start in their campaign as they have won two out of their three matches.
Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, has won one and lost one in IPL 2022. LSG must have grown in confidence as the young guns are delivering the goods for them. Deepak Hooda, Ayush Badoni, and Avesh Khan have been amazing for the new franchise and have played a key role in the team’s two wins.
Deepak Hooda and KL Rahul had scored fine fifties in the previous match whereas Khan had scalped four wickets against Sunrisers Hyderabad and had bowled a match-winning spell. LSG is ticking the right boxes and they will look to continue the good show in the tournament.
On the other hand, Delhi Capitals will be a tad disappointed as they couldn’t cross the line against Gujarat Titans in their last game despite chasing 172 runs. Rishabh Pant, Lalit Yadav and Rovman Powell had got off to starts but could not go all the way in the run-chase. Thus, Delhi Capitals will want to come up with a better batting performance.
Meanwhile, Mustafizur Rahman was brilliant with the ball as he scalped three wickets and conceded only 23 runs in his quota of four overs.
Match Prediction: Delhi Capitals will enter the contest as favorites against Lucknow Super Giants as they have the experience.
