Royal Challengers Bengaluru will lock horns against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on Monday. RCB has got off to a horrid start, managing a solitary win in six matches whereas SRH has got off to a decent start, winning three out of their five matches.
RCB’s bowling has been their kryptonite over the years and it is no different this season. In their last game against Mumbai Indians, the Hardik Pandya-led team made a mockery of their bowling line-up, chasing down almost 200 in 15.3 overs.
Rajat Patidar scored a fine fifty whereas Dinesh Karthik also added the finishing touches against MI. Another positive for RCB was their captain Faf du Plessis, getting back amongst the runs but he might look to score at a higher strike rate.
On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad was able to get over the line in the last game against Punjab Kings by two runs. When the big stars could not get runs for the Orange Army, Nitish Kumar Reddy stepped up to score a crucial knock of 64 runs.
Furthermore, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Pat Cummins were right on the money with the ball.
Match Prediction: Given current form, Sunrisers Hyderabad will enter the contest as favorites against Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
