RCB clinched their maiden IPL title after defeating Punjab Kings in IPL 2025 final by six runs at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on Tuesday. The Bengaluru franchise defended 190 runs to end their title drought in the tournament.
Meanwhile, after the final, players were awarded for performing consistently throughout the season. Gujarat Titans opener Sai Sudharsan bagged four awards – Emerging Player of the Season, Fantasy King of the Season, Orange Cap, and Most fours award. Sudharsan top-scored in the tournament with 759 runs in 15 matches at an average of 54.21.
Gujarat Titans’ lanky fast bowler Prasidh Krishna bagged 25 wickets and won the Purple Cap award.
14-year-old Rajasthan Royals opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi won the best strike rate award as he scored 252 runs in seven matches at a blistering strike rate of 206.56. The youngster has been awarded a brand new Tata Curvv.
Nicholas Pooran smashed 40 sixes in the season and was awarded Most sixes award.
